When this guide is for you
- You sell a B2B service (consulting, SaaS, training, recruitment) to decision-makers identifiable by their job function
- Your offer is rarely searched on Google and depends on discovery; you need to go to the customer
- You already have an active company page that gives your message credibility
- You want to generate appointments or registrations for a professional event, not just visibility
Step by step
- Check the prerequisites — Create a complete company page (description, address, logo, banner, a few recent posts) and an ad account linked to the company. Without an active page, LinkedIn refuses sponsored formats and prospect trust drops.
- Define the objective and the offer — For Moroccan B2B, the most useful objective is often lead generation (native form) or traffic to a booking page. A clear offer — a free 30-minute audit, a sector white paper, a demo — converts a thousand times better than a generic message about your expertise.
- Choose the placement and format — The news feed (Sponsored Content) is the starting point. Add sponsored messages (InMail) only for a targeted proposal, and company display for a recruitment message or an event. Each format has its own closing funnel.
- Build the audience — Combine job function, seniority, sector and location (Morocco or major cities). Exclude schools and job seekers if you are targeting buyers. Check that the final audience size exceeds 20,000 to 30,000 members.
- Set a budget and a target metric — Start with a test budget of 20,000 to 40,000 MAD over three weeks, with a cost-per-contact target defined in advance. Without this metric, every spending cut becomes an arbitrary decision.
What it costs (in MAD)
| Service | Indicative price | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Test budget (3 weeks) | 20,000 – 40,000 MAD (≈ 1,800 – 3,700 €) | 1,250 – 2,500 MAD per day, i.e. 15 to 30 dollars per day |
| Average cost per click (North Africa) | 12 – 40 MAD (≈ 1 – 4 €) | LinkedIn CPC is 3 to 5 times higher than Meta; it pays off on the value of the contact |
| Cost per lead with native form | 80 – 400 MAD (≈ 7 – 37 €) | Highly variable depending on sector and offer quality |
| Campaign management | 6,000 – 25,000 MAD per month (≈ 550 – 2,300 €) | Targeting, visual creation, A/B testing and reporting |
| Page and visual creation | 3,000 – 12,000 MAD (≈ 270 – 1,100 €) | Banner, graphic tour, 6 to 10 sponsored visuals |
Indicative ranges for the Moroccan market in 2026, excluding tax. Prices vary with scope and provider.
Mistakes to avoid
- Launching a campaign on an almost empty company page: members browse, don't follow and CTR collapses
- Targeting 'all job functions' to get a large audience: you pay to be seen, not to reach decision-makers
- Using a block of text as the visual instead of testing several hooks and card formats
- Evaluating a campaign on impressions instead of the cost per appointment actually booked
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum budget imposed by LinkedIn?
The minimum bid per click depends on the auction and the audience; in practice, a daily budget below 1,250 MAD (about $15) is not enough to come out of the learning phase. For an SME, allow at least 1,500 MAD per day for three weeks.
Does LinkedIn Ads work in Morocco?
Yes. Targeting by region and job function is reliable, but audiences by job function are smaller than in Europe: for niche roles, widen the sector or cities (Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier) and accept an audience of 30,000 to 60,000 members.
How to pay in dirhams?
LinkedIn generally bills in dollars or euros by international credit card. Plan for a card that accepts payments outside Morocco (a business card from a local bank or neobank), otherwise the campaign is refused at the end of the month.
Do I need an agency to start?
Not if you are willing to spend two hours a week on it: the platform is accessible. An agency is mainly justified for fine targeting, visual production and following leads through to the appointment.
How long until a first result?
Allow a week for delivery and the first statistics to be representative, and three to four weeks to judge cost per lead. Cutting a campaign after two days gives no usable information.
